The 5th floor shows international contemporary art from other countries such as China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, Russia, Italy, Norway, and the USA. The signature Richard Green room, imitating a European museum atmosphere with a curved skylight, exhibits paintings by the most talented artists from the
Romantic period. The style was still in vogue when Queen Victoria came to the British throne, and reigned when the Great King Rama V first travelled to Europe in 1897. Included are paintings by Sir Lawrence Alma Tadema and John William Godward. Some of these paintings age back to nearly three centuries and every piece is found to be exceptionally well-preserved.
