“KON” Art Exhibition by 24 Artists

This exhibition aims to raise funds for the I-Saan Art Funds and the construction of the building for Phon Hospital, Phon District, Khon Kaen Province.

“KON” Art Exhibition by 24 Artists was made possible by the collaboration of core artists (I-Saan Artists) and guest artists from other regions who are famous, skilled, and charitable as well as many supporters. This exhibition aims to raise funds for the I-Saan Art Funds and build the building for Phon Hospital, Phon District, Khon Kaen Province.

More than 40 art pieces in this art exhibition “KON,” is the creation of portraits of people in the view of 24 artists; as follows: Tawee Ratchaneekorn, National Artist in Visual Arts (Painting) 2005, Amarin Buppasiri, Anchalee Arayapongpanich, Atsuko Goto, Chainarong Kongklin, Daeng Buasan, Ekachai Luadsoongneon, Homesawan U-mansap, Jessada Kongsommart, Jirasak Anujohn, Metta Sudsawad, Jongjit Moolmat, Kowit Wattanarach, Prateep Kochabua, Pustee Kaewthamai, Sakaranon Supap, Sompob Budtarad, Sukit Choosri, Suradej Kaewthamai, Tawee Kesangam, Teerawat Kanama, Teerawat Nutcharoenpol, Tetat Tanachoktaweeporn, and Watcharakoranan Panya.

 

…Because today we are all characters in a world which is like a big the theater. Sometimes or many times or every time we step out of the house…we are driven the roles that we define or what others want to see or want us to be.

…Even when we are at home, watch movies, listen to music, listen to the news, the thoughts that want to be this or that personas always popped up in our mind.

*All of them are not true, they are just imaginations that the artists can create a real work in their own style.

 

The organizer wants to invite I-Saan artists to share their goodwill and funds to students, similar to the project to help the younger and create awareness among the selected students pass help to happen concretely, including creating as a tradition.
