Based on Thai culture with Buddhism as the essence— following the path of artists in the old days like Prince Naris and Master Hem Vejakorn, this painting is presented in a combination between idealism and realism and is one of illustrations for the Dharma book called “Before Sunset” authored by Phra Paisal Visalo. Sirima was the lady of beauty of Rajgir who attained the enlightenment stage called Sotapanna after she listened to a sermon delivered by Lord Buddha.
